This dress is made from a soft, light green fabric with a crepe-like texture and a floating floral design (purchased in Iberia), giving it a gentle impression.
The bodice is lined with cotton for structure due to the soft fabric (see last photo). This allows the top to hold its shape while the skirt moves softly. The vertical ruffles also move gently with your body.
Perfect for a bright Numero! (I made it for a Guajira.)
This is a handmade item, created in a dressmaking class. I worked with the teacher from pattern drafting to sewing.
Regarding the issue: The vertical ruffles have a rolled hem finish, but there are a few skipped stitches (photo 5). I can't fix this, unfortunately (crying). I've secured them with craft glue. It's not noticeable from a distance (hopefully) (photo 6).
