Pair of antique Meissen Blue Onion (Zwiebelmuster) porcelain salad plates featuring the classic cobalt floral center motif, double inner border, and outer fruit-and-foliage rim decoration. The scalloped rim and layered border detailing give these 7.75 plates elegant proportion  Each plate bears the Meissen crossed swords factory mark on the underside (no dots).These are antique, individually manufactured pieces dating to approximately the early 20th century. As is typical of antique porcelain of this age, individual pieces may have slight variations in size, shape, glaze tone, and the color/intensity of the hand-applied decoration.
