Description
This is the first domestically developed and designed assault rifle in post-war Japan, officially adopted in 1964. It features characteristics unique to Japan Self-Defense Forces firearms, such as high accuracy, a short stock tailored to the physique of the Japanese, and reduced-power cartridges with the same shape as 7.62mm NATO rounds, making it easier to control.
This kit includes bipods and buttplates that can be assembled in open or closed positions, a detachable dedicated bayonet, and a full-size magazine. Wooden parts such as the stock and grip, and other metal parts are reproduced with colored plastic.
The Little Armory is a 1/12 scale assembly kit that balances realism with compatibility with posable figures. The latest releases for November include the Self-Defense Forces' Type 64 Assault Rifle and the M1911 series, a masterpiece in the world of handguns. The theme is Showa Era Self-Defense Forces.
