Vintage King Kashmiri Crewel Bedspread Hand Embroidered Pasttimes Cream 106x90

✨ VINTAGE COLLECTOR'S ITEM ✨Authentic vintage Kashmiri crewel bedspread coverlet/quilt imported from India by boutique decor brand Pasttimes (circa 1980s/1990s). Entirely hand-embroidered by artisans using traditional Kashmiri wool chain-stitch (Aari work). Thick, vibrant wool yarns create a rich, dense botanical vine and floral pattern over a heavy, natural cream 100% cotton canvas base. Features a solid cotton backing lining that cleanly covers and protects the reverse side embroidery knots from snagging. Perfect for active use on a bed!  MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 106” x 90” (Fits a Standard King size bed beautifully, or use on a queen bed as shown, blanket, or large architectural wall tapestry).  CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. Was never used, only stored. The embroidery retains gorgeous, vibrant coloring (teals, blues, pinks, ochres, golds) with no major pulled threads. Structurally strong throughout. Free from fiber thinning or moth damage. Note: As is typical with vintage organic linens stored over decades, there are a few very faint, light coffee-colored storage spots (see close-up photos). They are minor, authentic to its age, and do not detract from its beauty. Kept in a clean, smoke-free home. I ship promptly and securely packed.
