Chinese String Instrument Dem Pin Xiao San Xian (Small Three-Stringed Instrument) with Snake Skin - Ethnic Musical Instrument
This is a decluttering of ethnic musical instruments that I casually collected about 20-30 years ago.
Since I can no longer provide a place for them to be played in my current environment, I would be happy if someone could enjoy playing them to their heart's content.
The information is gathered from the internet and my own interpretation, so there may be inaccuracies. Here is the description:
Thank you.
* Name: Xiao San Xian (Small Three-Stringed Instrument) Dem San Xian
* Origin/Roots: China
* Features: The body is smaller than a Sanshin, with a shape closer to a cylinder, and the surface is covered with snake skin. The extremely compact body in balance with the neck is consistent with the characteristics of Sanhu and derived instruments of Erhu used among ethnic minorities in Yunnan province and other regions.
* Size: Length approx. 62cm / Height approx. 9cm / Width approx. 18cm
