Djembe (Jembe) Percussion Instrument Wooden Drum 24cm Diameter
89.10 $
Description
Purchased in Ubud, Bali about 25 years ago.
It has been stored at home as a souvenir, but I am listing it for sale as I will not be using it.
Height: Approx. 61cm
Width: Approx. 28cm
Drumhead diameter: Approx. 24cm
It features hand-painted artwork by a Balinese artisan.
Although it is an old item, the cords are still sturdy.
It produces a pleasant sound when struck.
However, please note that due to being a foreign-made item, there are some rough areas in its construction.
The drumhead has uneven coloring and a red stain, likely from paint during creation (see photo 16).
There is also a small tear in the skin, which may have occurred during creation or storage (see photo 15).
The dots in photo 17 are original, but the scuff-like scratches may have occurred during storage.
Please consider this item only if you understand that it is a used product.
