SOTO ST 310 Yakiniku Griddle - Marbo's Teppan

This is a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) iron plate compatible with the popular SOTO portable burner, ST 310.

While various iron plates, including the famous Yokozawa Teppan, are sold on flea market sites for solo camping, this is the first one I've seen with a stopper-like function to prevent slippage.
So, I decided to make this product to fit the burner I use myself.

The plate, 6mm thick, fits into metal rods, preventing the tragic event of the iron plate falling off during yakiniku.
It also has oil grooves on the surface, so oil won't flow down like a waterfall from the edges.
The size is designed to fit perfectly into the SOTO genuine multi-case.

Why a dedicated design? As you can see at a glance from the photo showing two plates side-by-side, the groove positions are completely different for the 310, 330, and 340.
If you try to use them interchangeably, you risk bending the burner's trivet.

The material is s45c carbon steel, and it has been black-dyed for excellent rust resistance.
No troublesome seasoning is required.

After use, burnt bits can be easily removed by scrubbing with plastic wrap dipped in baking soda.
After washing, apply a thin layer of oil, wrap in newspaper, and it's perfect.

I enjoy long trips by motorcycle and bicycle, and I wanted to eat yakiniku in scenic spots using SOTO's highly portable single burner! This product was made out of that impulse.
