This is the BK-200, the pinnacle of bug keys from Hi-MOUND.
In Japan, bug keys were called semi-automatic keys.

Hi-MOUND has manufactured BK-50 and BK-100 since the era of Denshu Seiki.
The BK-200 was sold during the Showa era when demand for keys was at its peak.
As only a limited number were produced, a reservation purchase system was adopted.

Features include:
1. Stability
With a weight of 2.2kg, it does not waver even with vigorous tapping.
2. Precision Craftsmanship
It is elaborately made down to the finest details. This is the advantage of Japanese-made products, different from overseas products.
3. No dot chattering
Generally, the dots on bug keys are generated by direct contact of the pendulum tip.
With this method, chattering inevitably occurs due to contact while vibrating.
The BK-200 uses a system where a magnet is attached to the tip of the pendulum, and this reciprocating motion
turns a nearby reed switch ON/OFF.
This allows for clean dot transmission without chattering.
