Description
African Ethnic Percussion Instrument (Bote?)
This is a decluttering of ethnic instruments that I casually collected about 20-30 years ago.
Since I can no longer provide a place for them to be played in my current environment, I would be happy if someone could enjoy playing them to their heart's content.
The information below is based on what I gathered online and my own interpretation, so there may be inaccuracies.
Thank you for your consideration.
* Name: Ethnic Percussion Instrument (Bote?)
* Origin/Roots: Africa
* Features: The body is made of clay or wood, with a skin secured by a net-like string. The name varies depending on the specific region, but it is a style of percussion instrument found throughout Africa.
* Size: Height approx. 8cm / Diameter approx. 26.5cm
