Vintage 1940s Zell Fifth Ave Compact Carryall Purse Mirror Coins Lipstick Puff

Beautiful highly complete vintage 1940s Zell Fifth Avenue compact carryall dance purse. This piece has an incredibly well-preserved interior making it a fantastic addition to any vintage collection.   The original glass mirror is exceptionally clear with an excellent reflection. It shows only a couple of tiny, minor age marks near the edges with no major silvering loss or cloudiness. The glue holding it in place has dried but could easily be re-glued.  The original powder puff is included and in excellent condition featuring a crisp, bright gold stamped Zell Fifth Avenue logo.  The divider door has a fully intact clear plastic inner door that securely opens and closes between the internal compartments.  The coin and powder compartments are separated by the classic scalloped coin holder slots with original lining intact alongside the loose powder well.   The outer case shows moderate to heavy vintage wear, including surface scratches, tarnish spots and oxidation consistent with age. Please see photos.   The carry chain is present but has disconnected from the loop at one end. A pair of jewelry pliers will fix it. I am leaving it As Is.
