Flamenco castanets
These are Galliano castanets, renowned as masterworks.
Size: 8.2 x 6.8 cm
Weight: Approximately 135g for the pair.
Standard castanets are typically 9 x 7 cm, so these are slightly smaller.
The two shell pieces are joined thinly, making them very easy for me to play.
The tone is also surprisingly soft.
Each one is handmade.
It is said that these will no longer be made as the craftsman is no longer around.
I acquired these over 10 years ago and have taken great care of them.
I still remember the excitement I felt when I got them,
along with the soft sound they produce when played.
There are no particularly noticeable damages.
Looking for someone who will cherish them.
Please refrain from price negotiations.
