Description

Kawagoe Musen 50MHz LNA Antenna Direct Mount Preamplifier (High Power Compatible)
Used for several years, but offering to those interested due to a change in plans.
Effective for improving the S/N ratio of the receiving system, especially when cable loss is significant.
[Product Specifications]
Kawagoe Musen Homepage: https://moai.c.ooco.jp/sub6.html
Kawagoe Musen Part Number: 015 50MHz / High Power / Gain 32db / NF 0.2db
Operating Voltage: 12V-14V
Input/Output Connector: NJ-NJ
Maximum Mast Diameter: 65mm (U-bolt included)
Input Power: FM 600W, SSB 1.3KW
Included Accessories: Simple instruction manual and power cable that came with the purchase.

[Appearance] For waterproofing reinforcement, the joint of the main unit case was waterproofed with waterproof tape, and it was installed on the mast inside a plastic box. Therefore, there are some traces of waterproof tape remaining, but the case is glossy and I believe it is in beautiful condition.
[Operating Status] Just to be sure, I performed a desk test for transmission and reception on 2026/4/17 (FT8 & CW / 1KW) and confirmed normal operation.
Although the specifications state an input power of FM 600W, it withstood my IC-PW1/1KW in my installation environment. (This does not guarantee input power, and all usage is at your own risk.)
[Notes]
1. Due to the characteristics of LNA, clear effects may not be obtained depending on the usage environment. Please consider carefully before making a decision.
2. When installing, as noted in the attached simple instruction manual, please confirm that there are no issues with desk testing or PTT transmission/reception switching before installation. Incorrect installation can cause immediate damage.
