Antique German porcelain shaving mug featuring a stag/deer hunting motif surrounded by oak leaves. Finished in a burgundy-red gradient with a flared rim, pedestal-style base and angular handle. Bottom is marked GERMANY 187. Likely dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. Measures approximately 4 tall with a 3.5 opening. Displays considerable age-related wear, including finish loss and small nicks around the rim, handle and base; surface scratches; discoloration; and wear to the stag image. Raised manufacturing blemish above the deer. No obvious major crack visible. Please review all photographs closely.
