4-Step Adjustable Trivet kakudo GOTOKU
■ Gear Gimmick Visible from the Side
The most meticulously crafted part of this trivet is the gear gimmick on the specially designed side panels. By pinching the ▷◁ shape with your fingers, the gear gimmick is released, allowing for one-touch adjustment to five specific angles. When you release your fingers from the ▷◁ and reach a certain angle, the main top plate engages with a steel spring-back, fixing the angle of the side top plates.
This structure, born from the properties of steel and three-dimensional thinking, is a showcase gimmick created with Oshima Design, who proposes the design for MOOSE products.
■ Thoughtful Design Under 999g
The kakudo GOTOKU features a simple design that doesn't demand attention. It incorporates the maximum possible cutouts to ensure strength while keeping the weight under 999g.
By shaping it to the limit, heat retention points are reduced, enhancing cooling performance. Furthermore, by constructing it with 3 parts, the contact points between the main top plate and the side top plates are minimized when the burner is lit, reducing heat transfer and preventing product warping. It also addresses the common mistake of moving the stove after lighting it. Touching the hot gears without heat-resistant gloves. Naturally, it will be hot.
