□ A Word
Kimi wo Wasurenai (I Won't Forget You) is a film produced by Japan Herald Film in 1995. It is one of the films produced in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II, alongside THE WINDS OF GOD, Kike, Watatsumi no Koe Last Friends, and Himeyuri no Tō. The story depicts the friendship of seven young men chosen to be part of the Kamikaze Special Attack Corps at the end of World War II. The tagline is I could fly a plane and be popular with girls. That's how my youth was supposed to be. The film featured many actors who were still up-and-coming at the time, such as Takuya Kimura and Takashi Sorimachi of SMAP.
