Description
This is a remake from a pre-owned fukuro obi (a type of Japanese sash). The obi is a beautiful floral pattern with a light green, silk-like sheen. It is a two-piece tsukuriobi (pre-tied obi). The otaiko (bow part) is in very clean condition, but there are folding creases on the waist-wrapping part (images 7 & 8). Also, there is no obi-shin (interlining) inserted. It is lightweight.
The obi cord is made from new cotton tape. There are black dots, but they are not mold. They are characteristic of natural cotton materials.
