7 Antique Victorian 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair Die Cut Friendship Calling Cards

Wonderful lot of 7 antique Victorian die-cut friendship/greeting cards dating primarily to the late 1800s. The highlight is an Administration Hall - From your friend card depicting the Administration Building from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The building was designed by noted architect Richard Morris Hunt.  Beautiful period chromolithographed designs feature roses and other flowers, hands, birds, swans, scenic views and sentimental friendship messages including Kind Regards, Memento of Your Friend, and Sweet dreams and glad awakenings be thine!  Cards are approximately 3%-4 inches wide, with variations in size.  Antique pre-owned condition with age-related toning, discoloration/foxing, edge wear, small corner/edge losses and occasional marks. One card has old paper/adhesive residue on the reverse. Some handwriting/marks are present on backs. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are an important part of the condition description.  Lot includes all 7 cards pictured.
