This is the Icom IC-551, a renowned 50MHz band transceiver.
It comes with the valuable optional FM unit built-in.
【Operation Check Details】
Power On: Confirmed. Frequency display and other indicators are functioning correctly.
Transmission: In FM mode, confirmed that the unit's PO meter deflects when connected to a dummy load. Also confirmed that a nearby separate unit can receive the signal normally.
Reception: Connected an antenna and confirmed reception from several stations.
Other: All dials and switches respond, but please be aware that as this is an older model, there may be some minor crackling or intermittent contact.
*Detailed output (wattage) using measuring instruments, and strict performance checks such as spurious emissions have not been performed.
