Description
Wonderful vintage boxed collection of unused bookplates featuring a Scottish Terrier/Scottie dog returning a book to a library shelf. Each bookplate reads: Please return this to my shelf, I like it very much myself. Charming black-and-white illustration shows the Scottie in front of a bookcase filled with books, clock and small horse figure. Vintage pre-owned/unused condition with age-related toning, discoloration, edge wear and light storage wear. Original box shows considerably more age/storage wear including staining, surface wear and old tape/residue. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition. Fantastic piece of vintage paper ephemera for a Scottie collector, librarian, book lover, bookplate collector or dark academia display.
