When a heavy antenna is attached to a commercially available mount, it can sway sideways due to vibrations during driving and wind, which looks bad and can cause the antenna itself to loosen and detach while driving, posing a significant danger.
This mount is made of stainless steel and was custom-made by a professional.
The inner diameter of the U-bolt is approximately 2.7 cm, so it can be attached to any mirror stay within this size.
Previously, it was attached to an Air Loop Profia.
