This is a set of 4 commemorative tickets from the Nostalgic Steam Locomotive Exhibition from the Japanese National Railways era.
Issued in Showa 46 (1971).
The Nostalgic Steam Locomotive Exhibition was an event held by the Hiroshima Railway Bureau of Japanese National Railways (JNR) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of railways in Showa 47 (1972).
This was a time when steam locomotives were disappearing nationwide due to the shift to electrification and dieselization.
