Fender / Ken Stratocaster Experiment #1

I'm selling this as part of my gear consolidation. I've owned it as part of my collection, but I'm selling it due to gear consolidation.

It's barely been used, so it's in near-mint condition with only minor pick scratches on the acrylic pickguard.

It will be shipped in a hard case. I've disposed of the flimsy soft case, so it's not included.

The strap pins have been replaced with locking pins, but I will revert them to the original ones before shipping.

The tremolo arm and warranty documents are included.

It has been stored in a hard case, so the condition is excellent. The neck and frets are also in good condition.

Please refrain from asking about fret wear or string height; it's irrelevant.

I will not consider price negotiations. This is because many people who negotiate don't end up purchasing.

If you're concerned about minor details, please buy a new one. They should be available for around 250,000 yen.

This is a new Japanese-made signature model for Ken, the guitarist of L'Arc-en-Ciel, who has long favored Stratocasters and celebrated his band's 30th anniversary in 2021.

The combination of an original white body, matching headstock, and gold hardware is designed based on Ken's image of Kintsugi-repaired Japanese pottery.

The elbow contour, kept to a minimum, is painted gold, and the acrylic pickguard and control plates reveal that the pickup cavities, control cavities, and spring cavities are also painted gold. Furthermore, the pickup combination of V-Mod II and Fat 50s, directly mounted to a rigid body with a deliberately omitted back contour and a thick neck profiled from Ken's actual instrument, achieves Ken's ideal sound.

This guitar is packed with Ken's personal preferences, including the front and rear pickup blender, which is essential for recent Ken models, locking tuners, and a 6-Saddle Pure Vintage Synchronized Tremolo.
