highly collectible Mid-Century Modern modernist studio pottery bud vase made by Otagiri Mercantile Company (OMC) in Japan during the 1970s. This piece features a striking hand-painted abstract eye motif over a textured, speckled tan stoneware clay body. It is accented by bold, deep blue and rich brown glazed bands. CONDITION: MINT vintage condition. This piece has been incredibly well-preserved. There are absolutely NO chips, cracks, flea bites, crazing, or repairs anywhere on the ceramic. Crucially for collectors, BOTH original factory foil labels—the gold scalloped OMC Japan sticker and the silver Handpainted sticker—are 100% intact, crisp, and firmly attached to the base.
