Crate speaker cabinet with EVM-12S, Dumble style
212.55 $
Description
This is a guitar cabinet made by Crate, equipped with the legendary Electro Voice EVM12S speaker. It's also recommended for those looking for a cabinet from String Driver.
I used it connected to a Dr.Z 6545 head amplifier. It was only used for recording.
Despite being an affordable cabinet, it boasts a robust construction, as expected from a recent product. It firmly handled and reproduced the loud sound of the 6545.
As it's a single-speaker cabinet, the speaker's characteristics are strongly expressed. The dense mid-range is unique to the EVM-12S. It's a perfect match for Two Rock and Dumble-style amps, and it also sounded great with Fender-style heads.
I am selling it due to moving.
Thank you for looking.
