Wood Duck Decoy‎ Folk Art Floral Garland Cottagecore Farmhouse 11"

A charming vintage hand-carved and painted wood duck decoy signed by artist A. Evans on the underside. The cream speckled body features an elaborate applied three-dimensional floral garland with painted blossoms in yellow, pink, and blue with sage green leaves trailing across the body. Red bill and glass eye complete the naturalistic detailing. At 11 inches long this is a substantial decorative piece with real presence. A wonderful example of 1980s American folk art that fits beautifully in a cottagecore, grandmillennial, or country farmhouse interior. Surface shows light age-appropriate wear and handling marks consistent with a piece of this era. No chips or cracks. This piece is energetically prepared and ready for its new home. This is a used/vintage item. Please review all photos carefully and ask any questions before purchasing.
