Shibata Yoshinobu Shoten Magewappa Cup & Saucer
23.10 $
Description
This is a coffee cup and saucer set from Shibata Yoshinobu Shoten.
It predates the current boom and is not made of raw wood. I believe it has a urethane coating.
It was displayed rather than used as tableware, so it has developed a beautiful amber patina over time.
There are areas that have turned white, possibly from glue overflow, as well as black spots, splinters, and small indentations like dots.
Please check the images.
