Guitar Speaker Cabinet with Ear [Built-in Blues Breaker Clone]
I made a guitar speaker using a single piece of wood with ear-like protrusions.
The wood used is Katsugi (Japanese rowan).
Rubber sheets are attached to the back and bottom, and it is designed to be used by leaning it against a wall.
Dimensions are approximately H355 W175 D70 (mm).
Please check the photos for details.
The circuit board is placed on the front with an acrylic cover for protection, and the wiring on the back is exposed but secured with brass wire to prevent sagging.
The power amplifier section is a Smoky Amp type using an lm386.
I found it boring to make just an active speaker, so I incorporated a clone of the Marshall Blues Breaker in the front stage.
The op-amp used is TL072.
The knobs, from top to bottom, are: Blues Breaker gain, tone, volume, and the bottom one is the Smoky Amp gain.
You can enjoy sound creation by combining the front-stage crunch with the rear-stage lm386 overdrive.
The control panel is made of aluminum plate to minimize noise as much as possible.
Power can be supplied by a 006p battery or a center-negative adapter used for effects pedals.
A power adapter is not included with the product.
This is a handmade item, so there may be imperfections in the finish.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such details.
