Beautiful vintage JZH cast iron trivet featuring an elaborate openwork floral and scrolling design with a highly detailed symmetrical pattern. This substantial piece measures approximately 8½” tall x 6¾” wide and has a classic black cast-iron finish with natural age-related patina and surface variation. The ornate design makes it attractive as both a functional trivet and decorative wall hanging. The back is stamped 540 and also bears the JZH maker marking. I am not assigning a specific production year to the piece based on the markings. Wonderful for farmhouse, primitive, rustic, country kitchen, vintage, Pennsylvania Dutch-inspired, or eclectic décor.
