☆ Kaba-zaiku Nested Boxes (Large, Medium, Small)
Like Matryoshka dolls,
three gourd-patterned small boxes (large, medium, and small)
nest inside each other.
The gourd pattern on the top is intricately detailed.
These have been displayed in a cabinet for many years.
Kaba-zaiku is a traditional craft from Kakunodate Town, Akita Prefecture, using the bark of wild cherry trees as its material.
The longer you use it, the more its unique luster increases, and its shine can be restored, giving it a deeper character.
