Vintage Norman Rockwell “City Pride” collector plate, produced in 1985 by Artaffects Ltd. and made in the USA. The plate reproduces Rockwell’s wonderfully detailed “City Pride” painting, depicting a lively American city street scene filled with children, families, horses, carriages, and beautifully rendered architecture. The dominant red building makes this an especially colorful and charming Rockwell piece. “City Pride” was the second plate in The Curator Collection series, “On the Road,” which also included Pride of Stockbridge and Country Pride. This particular example is individually numbered No. 534, adding to its collectible appeal. The plate is finished with a delicate gold-tone rim and bears the Norman Rockwell signature within the image.
