Vintage Romance Swiss Made Musical Jewelry Box Bolero M. Ravel Made in Italy

Vintage musical jewelry box with a rich burgundy finish, contrasting dark trim, faux woodgrain accents, brass-tone hardware, and a soft pink velvet-lined interior.  The underside retains its original labels identifying the musical movement as Romance – Swiss Made, with the tune Boléro by M. Ravel. The box itself is marked Made in Italy.  The music box is in working condition and is activated by pulling the lower drawer open, making this an especially charming and functional vintage piece. The hinged upper compartment provides additional jewelry storage, while the lower drawer offers a second lined storage area.
