Kaba-zaiku (Cherry Bark) Square Tray, Kakunodate, Tea Ceremony Utensil, Natural Wood, Unused Stored Item
This is a Kakubon tray made using the bark of cherry trees from the Kakunodate region of Akita Prefecture.
The base is made of natural wood.
The surface has been finished with a transparent coating, highlighting the beautiful wood grain.
The wood grain resembles the flowing current of a river.
The tray is adorned with cherry blossoms for spring and Momiji for autumn, crafted from cherry bark. Although subtle, there is also one mother-of-pearl cherry blossom.
The cherry blossoms and Momiji appear to be floating on the river's flow.
This item conveys the gentle warmth of natural materials.
This is an unused item that has been stored. It is in beautiful condition with no scratches.
The plate stand is for photography purposes only and is not included with the product.
