■Product Details
This is a listing for an aluminum 3-piece lunch box, the same model as those made by COLLAS and LA PRATIQUE.

It is an antique (over 100 years old), dating from approximately the 1910s-1920s.
The main body is made of aluminum, and the handles and clasps are made of iron.

When the lid is removed, the containers nest inside each other, making it a 3-piece set.
The clasps on both sides of the lid securely hold the main body.
The satisfying click sound when attaching and detaching the lid is irresistible to cooking gear enthusiasts.

While lunch boxes with similar structures, such as the Grand Tetras lunch box or hollow-ware items with marble patterns, are often seen, this is a rare item that is not commonly found in Japan or overseas.

During WW1, from 1914 to 1918, French soldiers supplemented their standard military equipment with personal civilian items, including aluminum containers like this one.

Some Japanese campers use the top container for coffee beans and the bottom container for uncooked rice.
It also seems suitable for storing small items.

■Size
It is compact and fits in a backpack's side pocket. Rugged, small, and cute.
Approximately 9.5mm (height) x 145mm (width) x 11mm (depth).
Weight is approximately 159g.

■Notes
Please check the product images for the condition of the item.
Due to the nature of antiques and vintage items, there are inevitably some dirt, scratches, and small dents. Please purchase only if you understand this.
