Vintage Japan Cobalt Blue Peacock Peony Ginger Jar Gold Trim 8.5”  Beautiful vintage Japanese porcelain ginger jar dating approximately to the 1970s–early 1980s. Features a rich cobalt-blue glaze with an ornate peacock, peonies, flowering branches, multicolor enamel details, and gold accents.  The coordinating domed lid is decorated with flowers and topped by a gold-accented finial. The reverse is solid cobalt blue. Original “Made in Japan” foil label remains on the bottom.  • Approximately 8.5” tall with lid • Approximately 5” wide • Made in Japan • Removable lid • Peacock and floral design • Kutani-style Asian décor  Good vintage condition with light surface wear and some wear to the gold trim, especially around the lid.
