Benefits of the Catch Lock System
Over time and with repeated transport, the frames of effect pedal boards and attaché cases can gradually warp. With standard snap-latch (click-clack buckle) systems, even slight warping can prevent the case from closing, or a small impact can easily cause it to open, potentially rendering the case unusable.

In contrast, the catch lock system can securely lock and close the case despite minor warping, making it ideal for those who transport their gear frequently or want to use their case for an extended period without worry.
