When seasoning for the first time using an IH cooktop, the clear coating on the exterior may adhere to the IH surface when heated. Please wipe it off immediately. Be careful not to burn yourself as the IH surface will be hot.
Even after seasoning or oiling, the remaining clear coating on the exterior may adhere to the IH surface during cooking.
If the clear coating adheres to the IH surface and cannot be removed by wiping, please refer to the cleaning instructions in your IH cooktop's user manual. It may recommend using a cream cleanser for IH top plates.
