Vintage Indian Hand Painted Nesting Wooden Box Set of 3 Folk Art Storage Chests

A beautifully aged collection of three graduated Indian wooden boxes, hand painted with richly detailed figural scenes that unfold across their architectural lids and sides. Courtly figures gather beneath dark night skies among crescent moons, vessels, railings, and stylized landscape elements, creating an unusually decorative group with tremendous presence when displayed together. •	Graduated and nesting set of three vintage hand-painted wooden boxes. •	Architectural sloped-lid chest forms with brass-tone hardware. •	Figural scenes continue across the lids, fronts, and side panels. •	Painted palette of black, ochre, coral, green, white, and muted gold. •	Large: 11 L × 8 W × 9 H •	Medium: 10 L × 6 W × 7 H •	Small: 7 L × 4 W × 6 H •	At least approximately 45 years old. •	Significant authentic age character throughout, including scratches, scuffs, paint and finish loss, edge wear, surface marks, discoloration, interior wear, and oxidation/patina to the metal hardware. •	Please inspect all photographs carefully for condition. Displayed together, the graduated forms create the feeling of a collected installation rather than simple storage. They would be especially beautiful layered among books, ceramics, textiles, and other objects in a global, bohemian, maximalist, traditional, or richly collected interior.
