【Beautiful Condition - Couple Set】Happiness-Bringing Koropokkuru Couple, Making a Home, With Umbrella, Hokkaido Folk Craft

This is a set of married Kolpokkur (Korobokkuru), a popular motif from Hokkaido folk art.

Kolpokkur are said to be lucky little people who live under fuki (butterbur) leaves. This is a charming design where the male holds a large umbrella (leaf) and snuggles with the female. The hand-carved details are rich in expression and warmth, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood.

It comes with a base from the Chidzukuri brand and is solidly made. The beautiful wood grain and depth of the carving create a happy atmosphere when displayed on your entryway, living room, or shelves.

Size (actual measurement)
- Base total length: approx. 20cm
- Male (including umbrella) height: approx. 20cm
- Female height: approx. 10cm

Condition: Beautiful condition. There is almost no sign of use, and it is a clean piece. Please enjoy the natural color variations and small scratches in the wood as part of its charm.

As a god of happiness from Ainu folklore, it is perfect for wishing for marital harmony, home safety, and good luck. Sets of couples are rare, and this design with an umbrella is particularly popular!
