1959 Wonders of the Animal Kingdom Stamp Album Howard Winter Golden Glow AS IS

Vintage 1959 Wonders of the Animal Kingdom, published by Golden Glow Sales Corp. Text by Howard A. Winter, with stamp illustrations, cover artwork and black-and-white drawings credited to Benita Bartolome, Filomena Marquez and Vicenzo Palma. This oversized softcover animal reference and collectible stamp album was originally designed to hold 400 separately issued animal stamps. Numerous colorful stamps are present and mounted throughout the album. The stamps have not been individually inventoried, so completeness is unknown and not guaranteed. The album is in heavily worn condition with extensive edge and corner wear, tears, creasing, age toning, surface marks, paper loss, old transparent tape repairs and substantial binding/spine separation. It remains an interesting restoration, reference or display copy with attractive period wildlife artwork. Please examine all photographs carefully. The photographs show the actual book and are an important part of the condition description.
