Vintage 1970 US Air Force Museum Guide Booklet Wright Patterson AFB Aviation OH  Original vintage publication produced in connection with the United States Air Force Logistics Command and the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.  This illustrated booklet provides a look at the Air Force Museum and its collection during an important period in the museum's history. It includes museum history, introductory material from Air Force leadership, photographs of exhibits, and information on historic aircraft, helicopters, missiles and spacecraft.  Featured subjects include the Wright Brothers, F-82B Twin Mustang, B-47 Stratojet, B-52 Stratofortress, F-86 Sabre, F-100 Super Sabre, F-106 Delta Dart, C-124 Globemaster, XB-70 Valkyrie, Atlas missile, Matador missile, Gemini III capsule and many others.  Also pictured are historic museum exhibits including the Lady Be Good display and an AAF Prisoners of War exhibit.  The back cover discusses the groundbreaking for the new $6 million Air Force Museum, helping date this publication to approximately the early 1970s. Softcover booklet with numerous black-and-white photographs and illustrations throughout.  Vintage pre-owned condition with visible age and storage wear.
