Tohoku Mingei Kokeshi Wooden Bark Birch-style Creative Kokeshi Showa Retro Folk Toy
22.97 $
Description
This is a creative Kokeshi doll, believed to be a folk craft from the Tohoku region.
It features a unique, warm design with the bark (similar in texture to birch) left on the outside, and its charm lies in its simple, rustic, and flavorful expression.
Recommended for those who like a Showa retro atmosphere, or for collectors of folk crafts and regional toys.
There are scratches and scuffs due to age, as well as peeling of the bark, but we hope to pass it on to someone who can enjoy it as part of its antique and vintage charm.
As this is a one-of-a-kind item, please consider it soon if you are interested.
