HISTORY Capodimonte porcelain traces its heritage to the Royal Porcelain Factory established near Naples in the 18th century. During the 20th century, Italian workshops continued the Capodimonte tradition, becoming especially known for elaborate hand-modeled flowers and decorative porcelain. This vintage example bears the familiar crowned N with Capodimonte lettering and was likely produced circa 1960s–1980s. Unlike a purely decorative floral sculpture, this piece was created as a functional single taper candle holder. Its dimensional pastel roses and richly glazed foliage make it an attractive example of vintage Italian floral porcelain.
