Vintage 1962 Napco Black Santa Claus Ceramic Console Set - Rare Mid Century

An absolute holy grail centerpiece for mid-century Christmas collectors! This is an exceptionally rare, authentic vintage 1962 Napco Ware Christmas console set featuring a beautiful Black Santa Claus design. Produced during Napco's golden era of holiday design, this complete 3-piece centerpiece set includes a footed pedestal candy/nut compote bowl and two matching taper candlestick holders. Each piece features a beautifully hand-painted Black Santa Claus figure clad in a bright glossy crimson suit, holding aloft a deeply sculpted serving surface formed of interlocking green holly leaves and winter berries. The contrast of the brilliant high-gloss green and red glazes makes this an unforgettable addition to a holiday mantle or dining table. Brand / Maker: Napco (National Potteries Corporation) Year of Origin: 1962 (Stamped/Incised on base) Set Includes: 1 Pedestal Center Bowl, 2 Taper Candlestick Holders Condition Notes (Please Read): The set displays beautifully with exceptionally bright, glossy colors. The center bowl and one candle holder are free of chips or cracks. The second candle holder has a crack on the interior candle cup ring that has been glued and structurally repaired (see last photo). It is completely stable, holds a standard taper candle securely, and is entirely hidden from view once a candle is inserted. The price has been adjusted downwards to account for this flaw.
