Description
Own a piece of Bee Industry history with this vintage A.I. Root Company candle box from Medina, Ohio. Dating to the mid-20th century, this sealed original packaging features the classic branding of America's first family of beekeeping. The side of the box lists the company's historic hubs in Medina, Council Bluffs, and San Antonio—a direct link to the golden age of A.I. Root's national expansion. The box contains its original pair of 51% beeswax Sick Room candles, which may have developed a beautiful, natural bloom (a white powdery finish) that confirms the authenticity and high beeswax content of the vintage wax. Perfect for display in a general store collection, beekeeping archive, or as an example of mid-century liturgical graphic design. Details: • Manufacturer: The A.I. Root Co. (Medina, OH) • Era: Approx. 1950s-1960s • Contents: Two unused high-beeswax candles • Condition: Box is structurally sound with vibrant vintage typography.
