Washable with sheath! Tough 4-inch drop point hunter, machine-sharpened

Thank you for looking. This is a drop-point hunter with a modern appearance, reminiscent of the Fallkniven F1 or Cold Steel Master Hunter. The handle material is TPR rubber, the same as the aforementioned top-tier models, which maintains a secure grip even when wet with saltwater. It's a high-rigidity full-tang knife with the tang extending all the way to the butt, as shown in the images. The blade material is 5CR15MOV, which contains 15% chromium for excellent corrosion resistance, and also includes molybdenum to increase toughness, which is not found in steels of similar hardness like 1055 carbon steel or AUS6 (6A) stainless steel, as well as vanadium for improved wear resistance and long-lasting sharpness. This makes it a superior steel that is highly rust-resistant, very sharp, difficult to break, and holds its edge for a long time. The exceptional break resistance can also be inferred from cases where knife destruction tester JOE X, despite breaking expensive knives frequently, often ended tests without being able to break 1055 steel or 5CR series stainless steels. While inheriting the sharp, corrosion-resistant blade and the easy-to-grip traditional drop-point hunter design, it utilizes new rubber material, making it perfect for applications where carbon steel would be avoided, such as processing fish on a slippery, saltwater-covered boat, or preparing dishes with tomatoes, vinegared foods, and fruit juices. The washable nylon sheath does not have the problem of the edge being damaged by rivet hardware and losing its sharpness, unlike some products from a certain naked bone company. In fact, this model is an OEM product of a knife sold on a major online shopping site under the product name Avant Camping Knife (though with a different engraving) for 4,980 yen. Although the laser engraving is from the manufacturer, the blade shape, surface treatment, the anti-slip pattern of the handle rubber, and the sheath are exactly the same, so some people will likely recognize it at a glance. The sharpness from the factory was barely enough to cut through thick paper, not utilizing the steel's full potential. Therefore, I have re-sharpened it using the Swedish sharpening machine TORMEK T-8 to create an edge of 19 degrees per side, totaling 38 degrees, which is optimal for this knife, from the heel to the tip. It cuts even the ultra-thin paper of rolled cigarettes smoothly (there are no smokers in the storage location of this item, including the seller).
