The areas that may appear to be rust are
due to the seasoning process performed at the Lodge factory.
You can use it without any problems by scrubbing it off with a scouring pad and then applying a thin layer of cooking oil for maintenance.

With legs, it can be used not only on a stovetop but also for cooking by placing charcoal or firewood underneath.

The lid has a rim so that charcoal can be placed on top for oven-style cooking, allowing you to make dishes like roast beef.

[Care Instructions]
1. Remove dirt with warm water using a non-metallic scouring pad.
*Avoid using detergent as much as possible. If you are concerned about odors or burnt-on food, we recommend using baking soda.
2. Dry completely by wiping or heating until all moisture is gone.
3. While still warm, apply a thin layer of cooking oil, spread it evenly, and season.
4. Store after it has cooled down completely.
