Description
This item was used once for decoration.
It is made of Japanese paper, and all the unique small decorations are also made of Japanese paper.
The base is likely wood.
It is relatively large.
Approximately 180 cm wide x 17 cm.
I have placed a plastic bottle next to it for scale.
The decorations such as the tiger and pot are unused.
I think it would also look lovely displayed for seasonal festivals.
There are initial stains, etc. Please check the images.
This is a traditional Japanese folk toy called Inu Hariko (dog papier-mâché).
Meaning and Origin: Inspired by the fact that dogs are prolific breeders and have easy births, it is cherished as a charm and ward against evil, wishing for the healthy growth of children.
- Use: Interior decoration
