Description
Unusual vintage wide-band ring featuring an elegant engraved geometric leaf or wheat motif over a finely textured linear background. The interior is distinctly stamped: “BRASS – NOT FOR SALE” This unusual marking suggests the ring may have originally been produced as a sample, display, demonstration or non-retail piece, although its exact origin and manufacturer are unknown. The ring has a predominantly silver-tone exterior with warm brass visible along the interior and portions of the edges. Approximately US size 6½ as shown on the ring mandrel. Pre-owned vintage condition with surface scratches, finish wear, discoloration and patina consistent with age and previous handling. No other maker's mark has been identified.
