Fantastic vintage mid-century modern Atomic Age starburst brooch featuring an incredible three-dimensional burst of gold-tone wirework accented with vivid turquoise-blue cabochons. The layered radiating spikes give this piece wonderful movement and dimension—it almost resembles a tiny explosion, sea urchin or Sputnik-inspired starburst. The scattered blue stones are especially striking against the bright gold tone. Measures approximately 2” across. Pin back with rollover safety clasp. No maker’s mark found. Very nice vintage condition with age-appropriate wear; please see photos as part of the description.
