I am organizing my collection to make room for more.

Indian Sarasa is characterized by its exotic patterns and colors woven from complex plant motifs. Three types of fabric with different nuances are used.
To explain Edo Kimekomi Dolls: This is a traditional craft that originated in Kyoto about 280 years ago. The name Kimekomi Doll comes from carving 1-2mm grooves into the doll's mold and then kimekomu (fitting) fabric into the grooves with glue. You might be familiar with this technique if you've seen Hagoita (battledore), Hina Dolls, or Gogyo Dolls. This technique was later brought to Edo and developed into Edo Kimekomi Dolls. The renowned maker involved in this project is Kakinuma Dolls. At this manufacturer, everything from mold creation to kimekomi is done by highly skilled artisans.
Indian Sarasa refers to patterned dyeing of cotton made in India. While it is characterized by dyeing patterns using woodblocks or copperplates, the most distinctive feature of Indian Sarasa is its red coloring. In the past, the technology for dyeing plant fibers red was extremely difficult, and in Japan, indigo and brown were the main colors. India is said to have the oldest technology for dyeing cotton red. By the way, Indian woodblock prints are also used for the ears and collar. They have a mystical texture that is different from Japanese textiles.

The actual item will be shipped with bubble wrap packaging, including the box.
It was only taken out of the bag for the photos.
The atmosphere of the beckoning cat changes depending on the pattern placement of the fabric, making each one a unique and very cute item ✧*。٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧*。
I loved collecting these, so I hope they will reach someone who also likes them ( *´꒳`*)

This is just my personal feeling, but since I started collecting Kakinuma Toko's beckoning cats and decorating each room with them, I've had more good encounters ♡
